Fall classes at ¿ªÐÄ¹í´«Ã½ got under way on Aug. 14, including at the Rankin Campus in Pearl.
Late registration continues throughout the week until Friday, Aug. 18.
The Rankin Campus added an Honors program last fall. A new addition for fall 2017 is the college-level culinary arts program, which is also at ¿ªÐÄ¹í´«Ã½â€™ Jackson Campus-Academic/Technical Center, Utica and Vicksburg campuses.
¿ªÐÄ¹í´«Ã½ is celebrating its 100th year of Community Inspired Service in 2017. ¿ªÐÄ¹í´«Ã½ opened in September 1917 first as an agricultural high school and admitted college students for the first time in 1922, with the first class graduating in 1927. In 1982 ¿ªÐÄ¹í´«Ã½ Junior College and Utica Junior College merged, creating the ¿ªÐÄ¹í´«Ã½ District.
